Dräger PARAT® Escape Hoods

Dräger PARAT escape hoods are designed to be easily donned and protect users from toxic industrial and fire-related gases, vapors and particles for up to 15 minutes.

Escape hoods ready in 3 steps

The PARAT is easily deployed in an emergency. When the case is opened, the filter plug automatically releases and the filter moves into operational position so the escape hood can be immediately donned. The self-adjusting internal head harness requires no additional tightening.

 

Reliable protection

The high-performance combination filter reliably protects against a wide range of toxic industrial gases, vapors and particles. The ABEK P3 filter is approved according to the DIN 58647-7 for filtering escape devices; additionally, the filter is tested in accordance with the EN 14387:2004 for gas and combined filter(s). The packaging includes a security seal that indicates whether the unit has been opened. In addition, the filter is tightly sealed with two filter plugs.

 

16 years of service life

By replacing the filter after 8 years, you will extend the service life of the Dräger PARAT Escape Hoods to 16 years in total (5500 and 7500 versions only).

Approval: according to EN 403:2004 for fire escape hoods, additionally tested for the use against H2S (at 2,500 ppm) in accordance with DIN 58647-7
Packaging types: available in Hard Case, Soft Pack and Single Pack

PARAT 7500
Use: protection against toxic industrial gases, vapors, particles and fire-related gases
Filter: ABEK CO P3 Filter
Approval: according to EN 403:2004 for fire escape hoods; according to DIN 58647-7 for filtering escape devices; filter additionally tested in accordance with EN 14387:2004 for gas filter(s) and combined filter(s)
